GivingTuesday reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give. Please consider giving to The University of Alabama Museums!

WHY TO SUPPORT UA MUSEUMS

The generous support and continued involvement of our friends allow us to do more in research, educate students better, and more actively serve the local, state, national, and international community.

Your gifts and support of our programs can add to and enhance what we are able to do. With your help we can

  • award scholarships and supplemental support to outstanding students in order to bring the best national and international students to The University of Alabama and to improve their ability to accomplish world-class research
  • enable students to attend academic conferences to present their research and enhance both their own research visibility and that of The University of Alabama
  • bring in nationally and internationally renowned guest speakers for high quality public talks for the University and the community

HOW TO GIVE TO UA MUSEUMS

  1. Become a UA Museums Supporting Member by visiting give.ua.edu/museums! Our members are important — and they make a difference every day throughout our museums, departments, and programs. Membership dues support our collections, programs, research, and services, allowing us to provide high-quality programs that make an impact locally and regionally. Our membership program offers seven levels, each with a variety of benefits. Each membership level receives the benefits listed plus all benefits of levels that precede it.
  2. Support the Alabama Museum of Natural History by visiting almnh.museums.ua.edu/support-the-museum! You can give to the museum through multiple Gift Funds.
