Southern Queer History: Tuscaloosa Lesbian Coalition Exhibit

From March 19 until July 20, 2024, the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum will be presenting Southern Queer History: Tuscaloosa Lesbian Coalition, an exhibit aimed at uncovering the hidden history of the queer community in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The 38th Annual Sakura Festival

The 38th Annual Sakura Festival will be at the Warner Transportation Museum on Saturday, March 23rd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Annual Sakura Haiku contest is open to entries online, here! The last day to enter is March 15th. Winners of the Haiku Contest will be announced at the festival and certificates will be mailed out at a later date. To raise awareness and kickoff Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Turning Point Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Center will be presenting What We Wore, an exhibit highlighting the experiences of sexual assault survivors at the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum.
