Weave with Mary: Meet the Artist (November 6)

Muscogee (Creek) artist, Mary Smith, will be at the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Smith is the featured artist behind the new temporary exhibit, Weaving Muscogee Creek Culture: The Artistry of Mary Smith. She will be giving basket weaving demonstrations where families can learn to make small baskets to take home, talk with the artist, and learn about her artistic journey.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see the new exhibit at MWWTM and meet the incredible artist behind the work. Snacks and water will be available at this FREE event. Come Weave with Mary!
