|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until March 27, 2021

Curated by University of Alabama student volunteer Allison Mansour, the Stitching Together Tuscaloosa’s History exhibition utilizes the 2019 Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Quilt which was created as a celebration of Tuscaloosa’s ever-changing and diversifying communities. This February and March, the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum takes a new look at the quilt through the lens of Black History and the rich stories spun by African American quilters.
