“Stitching Together Tuscaloosa’s History” – Reflections on the Exhibit

In this video segment, University of Alabama student curator, Allison Mansour, reflects back on what she has learned about designing and creating exhibits.

The Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum is proud to present “Stitching Together Tuscaloosa’s History” which ends on March 27, 2021. This student curated exhibition was created as a celebration of Tuscaloosa’s ever-changing and diversifying communities and takes a new look at the Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Quilt through the lens of Black History and the rich stories spun by African American quilters.
